Bon dia!! In Bonaire, that’s how I would say hello to you during the daylight hours. It is literally translated “good day” in Papiamentu, the native language here. People here are extremely friendly, and love explaining their favorite spots on the island and teaching their language and culture. Well, it’s 85 and sunny every day here in Bonaire: even when it rains the sun is still out. “Bonwhere?” you might ask. Bonaire is a tropical island, north of Venezuela.
